İsrail’in Gazze saldırılarından sonra, bir kez daha tarihin döngüsünden kaçınmanın insanoğlu için çok zor olduğunu düşündük. Mesele güç olunca, geçmişten günümüze, ta Habil ve Kabil’den beri, yalnızca “aktörler” değişmiş; bir de gücü elde etmek için kullanılan araçlar.
After Gazza events it's understood one more time that for the humanity is very hard to get out from the as called “spiral of the history”.When is about power, nothing else have been changed in the world, beggining with Cain and Abel till todays, but the “actors” and maybe the tools they use to get it.
Konumuz tiyatro ve büyük usta Shakespeare olunca, onun operasının evrenselliği hiç değişime uğramadı. Belki tarihin belli bölümlerinde diğer zamanlara kıyasla daha güncel kabul edilmiş olabilir.
When is about theatre and its greatest master, William Shakespeare, nothing changed in the universality of his opera maybe just that he is considered more contemporary with some periods of history than with others.
Three jesters are performing Shakespeare’s dramas. They have choose Shakespeare’s words to tell a story about power. How different they read the text? How much irony they can give to these stories and to the characters? İs it theater so strong to absorb them in? Can they make us forget, together with them, even for few minutes, that we are at theater? And after that, can they make us smile because of the theatrality of intrigants? How funny is the history when it repeats itself? How ridiculous is the mortal human being running for power? How sad it is the fact that the most inteligent creature in the world waste its little time of life …?
Üç soytarı Shakespeare’in dramlarını canlandırıyor. Gücü anlatmak için Shakespeare’in sözcüklerini seçiyorlar. Metni ne kadar farklı okuyabilirler? Bu öykülere ve karakterlere ne kadar ironi katabilirler? Bu onları içine çekecek kadar güçlü bir tiyatro olabilir mi? Bize ve kendilerine, bir an için bile olsa, tiyatroda olduğumuz gerçeğini unutturabilirler mi? Ve sonra entrikaların tiyatralliğiyle bizi gülümsetebilirler mi? Tarih tekerrür ettikçe komediye dönüşür mü? Ölümlü insanoğlunun sürekli güç peşinde koşması ne ölçüde saçma bir durumdur?
